Today in Tungkillo, South Australia a truck of young pigs rolled. We went there straight to the scene to bear witness and try help in any way we could but we were turned away. We tried to negotiate to help/rescue the injured but they were not co operating to let us help the pigs. We were advised that they were still someone's property, even the dead ones and that there was a vet there euthanising the ones that needed and that the rest would be loaded back onto another truck. ... In the dairy industry, mothers cry in pain for their babies who've been taken from them. These mothers are in massive amounts of distress and this is all so humans can consume the milk that was meant for their babies. Their lives are full of heartache and their babies don't get to have a life. They are wastage, they are thrown away, they are veal.
